Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones has shared that Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the controversy from his televised remarks.

The Fallout

He was omitted from a European match following voicing frustrations and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”

The manager has refused to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

Team Unity

Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.

The midfielder also implied that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

Team Form

The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the period after the situation. He feels the forward's comments were not designed to cause disruption.

“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and starting to win games.”
